- Professor (Nursing): M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned specialty, 4 years of teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing as an Associate Professor or any higher teaching post in a College of Nursing. Registration with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council.
- Associate Professor (Nursing): M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned specialty, with 5 years of teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing as a Lecturer or any higher teaching post in a Nursing college. A Ph.D. (N) will be preferred (with a minimum total teaching experience of 08 years after M.Sc. Nursing). For the super specialty Diploma Course, 05 years of teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned/allied specialty. Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level. Registration with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council.
- Assistant Professor (Nursing): M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned specialty, 03 years of teaching experience after M.Sc. in the concerned specialty as a tutor or any higher teaching post in the College of Nursing. For Super Specialty Diploma Course, 03 years of teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned allied specialty with the Post Basic Diploma in the concerned super-specialty. M.Sc. Nursing in the Super specialty as a lecturer will be preferred. A Ph.D. (N) will be preferred. Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level. Registration with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council.
