Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as of the cut-off date 01-04-2026. Candidates should NOT have undergone Apprenticeship either with Union Bank of India or in any other organization earlier, or be currently pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act 1961 as amended. Candidates who have completed apprenticeship training or had job experience for one year or more after completing the educational qualification are also not eligible.

The result must have been declared on or before 01.04.2026. The date of passing Graduation should not be more than 4 years preceding the cut-off date (i.e., the graduation marksheet should not be before 01.04.2022).
Nationality / Citizenship Must be a Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal / Bhutan / an eligible person of Indian origin as per the prescribed criteria. A certificate of eligibility from Govt of India is required for non-Indian citizens in eligible categories.
Local Language Proficiency Candidate must be proficient in any one of the local languages of the applied state (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding). Evidence via 10th/12th marksheet/certificate or local language proficiency test.

The selection process for Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 consists of 2 (two) stages – an Online Test of 100 marks (objective type, 60 minutes) and a Proficiency Test of Local Language.
