MECON Limited FTFT Recruitment 2026 – Definition of Work Experience

Work experience will be counted only if it is in a full-time job on a regular salary basis and in the relevant area as stipulated against the respective post. Intermittent or freelance experience will not be counted. Entrepreneurial experience is also not eligible. For Management Trainees, Executive Trainees, and Graduate Trainees, only the on-the-job training period served in PSUs will be counted towards experience. Articleship, internship, academic projects, teaching, and research experience will not be considered as post-qualification experience. However, the period of apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act will be counted towards the required post-qualification experience. All experience claimed must be substantiated with documentary evidence as specified; self-declarations regarding the nature of work or relevance of experience will not be accepted.

MECON Limited FTFT Recruitment 2026 – Documentary Evidence for Work Experience

Candidates must provide valid work experience certificates for all past employments mentioned in the application form. These certificates must clearly mention the date of joining, date of relieving, nature of duties, and specific areas of experience with relevance to the applied post. In the absence of a certificate from any past employer, the experience from that employer will not be counted, and the candidature may be rejected if the minimum experience is not met. For current employment, candidates must submit an Experience Certificate or Offer/Appointment Letter along with Pay Slips for the last 3 months from the date of the advertisement. An Identity Card proving continuity of employment may also be submitted. Non-submission of these documents may result in rejection. The upper age limit for each post is 50 years for General (UR) and EWS category candidates, as calculated on the cut-off date of 23.03.2026. Age relaxation is provided as per the Government of India guidelines. Reservations for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwD (Persons with Disability – 40% or above), and EWS candidates are provided as per Government of India guidelines. Reservation for PwD is on a horizontal basis. SC, ST, and OBC (NCL) candidates applying against UR category posts will be considered on the General category merit – no age relaxation or fee waiver applies to them in such cases. OBC (NCL) candidates must produce a valid certificate in the format prescribed by the Government of India; the certificate must not be more than 1 year old as on the date of advertisement. EWS candidates must produce an Income and Asset Certificate issued by the competent authority (such as District Magistrate, Revenue Officer not below Tehsildar rank, etc.) in the prescribed format available on MECON’s website. Candidates applying under the UR, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), or EWS category are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred only). MECON Limited FTFT Recruitment 2026 – Travelling Allowance (TA) for Interview

Outstation candidates who appear for the Walk-In-Interview are entitled to reimbursement of travelling allowance (TA) for to-and-fro travel by the shortest route from their mailing address (as mentioned in the application) to the interview venue. TA will be paid at III Tier AC (3A) / Chair Car (CC) rail fare rates, or ₹7 per km by road, whichever is less, subject to production of original tickets/receipts and/or boarding passes. Rail fare will be at regular (non-Tatkal/non-premium Tatkal) rates only. Internal MECON candidates will be governed by company service rules. Candidates should note that scrutiny of applications is conducted on the interview date itself – if any claim is found unsubstantiated, the candidate will not be interviewed, and no TA will be paid. TA forms must be submitted along with proof of travel, bank account number, and IFSC code of the bank branch for payment processing.

Candidates should note that the initial place of posting is indicative only – MECON reserves the right to post selected candidates at any project site, location, or office of the company based on organizational requirements. Candidates must be prepared for transfers/postings anywhere in India as per management discretion.
