Mathematics Teachers: Science bachelor’s degree with Mathematics and Physics, plus one additional optional subject (e.g., Chemistry), along with a B.Ed. in Science method; plus Kannada proficiency requirement.

Science Teachers: Science bachelor’s degree with Chemistry and one of Botany/Zoology/Biology, along with a B.Ed. in Science method; plus Kannada proficiency.

Social Science Teachers: Bachelor’s degree with any two of History, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Geography as optional subjects in Arts, along with a B.Ed. in Arts method, plus Kannada proficiency. Must have studied in the English medium.
