The total training duration is 4 years (3+1) at Pre-Commissioned Training Academies (PCTA). Phase I consists of 3 years of Integrated Basic Military Training & Engineering Training at Cadets Training Wings located at CME Pune / MCTE Mhow / MCEME Secunderabad. Phase-II consists of 1 year of Integrated Basic Military Training & Engineering Training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. On successful completion of 4 years of training, cadets will be awarded an Engineering degree and granted Permanent Commission in the rank of Lieutenant.
