Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1. When will the DSSSB Various Post E-Admit Card 2026 be released?

Ans. The admit card will be released on 20 July 2026 on the official DSSSB website. The exact time has not been announced. The board will not send individual notifications – candidates must visit the portal on the release date to download their admit card.

Q2. How do I log in to download the E-Admit Card if I have forgotten my password?

Ans. Use the password recovery option on the DSSSB login page. If you cannot recover it, contact DSSSB via email at [email protected] before 23 July 2026 with your full name, application number, and registered mobile number. In-person assistance is also available on 22 and 23 July between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Q3. My name is spelt incorrectly on the admit card. What should I do?

Ans. Submit a correction request to DSSSB immediately, either in person (22-23 July, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM) or via email ([email protected]) by 23 July, 1:00 PM. Provide your roll number and post code along with the correction details. Do not attempt to correct it yourself or report the error on exam day.

Q4. I have not received my admit card even after entering my correct credentials. Why?

Ans. Ensure you have entered your registered application details correctly and selected the correct postcode. If the problem persists after verifying credentials, contact DSSSB using the support channels mentioned above. Admit cards are issued only to eligible candidates who appeared in the selection process leading to this skill test.

Q5. What is the reporting time, and is it different from the skill test start time?

Ans. Yes, reporting time and test start time are different. Reporting time is mentioned on your admit card and is earlier than the actual skill test start time. You must arrive by the reporting time to complete entry formalities and biometric verification. Arriving after the reporting time may result in denial of entry, regardless of the actual test start time.

Q6. Can I appear for the skill test using a photocopy or digital copy of the admit card?

Ans. No, you must carry a printed copy of the admit card. A digital copy on your mobile device is not accepted. Print your admit card immediately after downloading it – do not rely on printing it at the last moment, as this may lead to printing issues or delays.

Q7. My admit card shows a photograph that is not mine. What should I do?

Ans. Contact DSSSB immediately via email by 23 July, 1:00 PM with your roll number, post code, and a clear explanation. You may also report this in person on 22 or 23 July between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Corrections to candidate photographs are typically handled by the board before the exam date. Do not ignore this error – it may lead to complications on exam day.

Q8. What happens if the admit card is not released by 20 July 2026?

Ans. Monitor the official DSSSB website (https://dsssb.delhi.gov.in) daily for updates. The board may release the admit card on short notice. If the admit card is not released by 23 July, contact DSSSB via email or in person for clarification. The board typically releases skill test admit cards close to the exam date, so check the portal regularly.
