The selection process for BPSSC Havildar Instructor Recruitment 2026 consists of 2 (two) successive stages – a Written Competitive Examination of 100 marks (MCQ/Objective type, 2 hours) and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of 100 marks. The written examination is only qualifying for the PET; the final merit list will be based solely on marks obtained in the Physical Efficiency Test.

Candidates scoring less than 30% marks in the written examination will be disqualified from the Physical Efficiency Test. Based on written exam marks, candidates equal to 5 (five) times the number of vacancies for each reservation category will be shortlisted for PET.
